Jon recently had the pleasure of having a pilonidal cyst removed from his..... tailbone area. His surgery was in December and as his wound has been healing, it created a dimple. A dimple is bad news because it was creating an environment perfect for another cyst! We took immediate action and in February we were back at the Doctors to have the dimple situation fixed. Dr. Smith started the procedure and told me I was welcome to watch as long as I didn't pass out. I laughed at the thought and explained I grew up on a cattle ranch and told him I was sure I'd seen worse. Dr. Smith was very informative and explained what he was doing as he cut the dimple out. I was intrigued and thought maybe I had picked the wrong profession! Then Dr. Smith began to stitch Jon up and the next thing I know I'm waking up on the floor! I passed out after the procedure was all but over. A nurse came in and I was very stressed at the attention she and the doctor were giving my face... I thought oh great, I'm getting married and I'm going to have yet ANOTHER huge scar on my face. Luckily it was hidden in my hair, and I didn't need stitches, they just glued it shut and I was good to go! I left my tough pride at the doctors office and I'm not going to explore the field of medicine!
Soooo embarassing! Your a brave soul for telling this story.
