Ya know those weekends you have where everything seems to go wrong? Or projects take 5 times as long as you were planning on? Poor Jon had such a weekend. It all started off when he decided to clean the ash out of the fireplace. You'll notice from the gaping hole and smoke billowing out in the video how that project went. It seemed like one thing after another for him! When we were feeding my Dad's cows we were pleasantly surprised to see the first baby calf of the season. As we got closer to the cow, we saw she wasn't done quite yet and was having twins. Only one is pictured as we got her in the barn before she calved her second calf. I think calving season is upon us! If Jon thought this last weekend was long, he's not gonna like whats coming! Good thing he's super strong and handy!
